NIKE CORTEZ CLASSIC
THE FIRST SHOE WORTHY OF A SWOOSH. Originally designed in the mid-sixties by Bill Bowerman. “Cortez” was conceived as the supreme training shoe for the long distance runner. The Cortez made its debut in South Africa back in the late 90’s, with a brief comeback in the 00’s.
Today, with it’s simple aesthetic and wearability, the Cortez has been titled the most “democratic” sneaker Nike Sportswear has to offer. As a tribute to the shoe and its followers, we will honor the past and look at ways to improve the Cortez for years to come. Available now at all Nike Sportswear stores & Shesha Lifestyle stores.
