The legendary Nike Tailwind, the shoe that brought Nike Air to life in the late 70's makes a comeback in 2012.

The Tailwind was the first Nike shoe to feature an Air-sole unit. It debuted in Hawaii for the Honolulu Marathon in late 1978. Releasing in a met silver/blue spark colourway, the sneaker comes with a non-stretch mesh upper, ankle collar, extended heel counter, air sole and solid rubber waffle outsole.

With the Nike Air Tailwind Vintage QS, the Swoosh stays entirely true to the original, both in terms of materials and colours, even including the original patent of the outsole, embossed on it.
